Michael is a communications expert with nearly thirty years of experience in providing strategic public relations and government relations counsel to businesses, not-for-profits, government, and elected officials.
He began his career in public service as a Post-Graduate Fellow in the New York State Senate. A superb writer and spokesperson, Michael honed his skills as the Director of Communications at Fidelis Care, Deputy Communications Director at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and as an Executive Team member and Spokesman at the New York State Environmental Facilities Corp.
Michael earned his MPA in Environmental Policy and Resource Management from the top-rated Syracuse University Maxwell School and his BA in Political Science and Environmental Policy, History and Philosophy from Hartwick College.
Outside the office, Michael enjoys geeking out with a fine cigar and a copy of Smithsonian magazine, as well as volunteering with his wife Stacey at the Friends of Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter where he also serves on the Board of Directors.
