The Niskayuna Food Truck Festival is open to the public and will be held at the Zenner Road Soccer Park behind Craig Elementary School off River Road on September 15, 2019, from 12-6 p.m.  A $5 donation will get you access to the festival and kids under 5 years of age get in for free – Liv4TheCure has capped the entrance fee at $20 per family.

A number of local and well-known food trucks will be serving up burgers, veggie wraps and everything in between.  Live music will be provided by Josh Casano, Up the River and a special half hour of kid’s music performed by Carolyn Keenan.  Kids will enjoy playing in two bounce houses, enjoying pony rides, engaging with the Bizzy Bees Bus from Spotted Zebra, a face painter and other activities.  A full list of food trucks, vendors, sponsors and activities can be found below.

“We established Liv4TheCure as a way to fight for our daughter and others like her who are dealing with rare chromosomal disorders like Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome,” said President, Founder and Mother, Stephanie Forman.  “Olivia has had such a profound positive effect on our lives, and the lives of everyone she encounters, that we felt a powerful urge to do what we can to help her, and children like her.”

Liv4TheCure’s mission is to advance science, technology and treatments for rare chromosomal deletion syndromes.  Stephanie Forman, the President & Founder of the organization lives in the town of Niskayuna with her husband Aaron, daughter Olivia “Liv” and son Jack.
