Develop and execute a nationwide public relations strategy for a relatively unknown conventional school bus manufacturer with no communications infrastructure and help them launch the first-in-the-world all electric school bus at a time when public schools budgets are feeling the financial constraints caused by one of the worst economic climates in our nation’s history.
Worked with company principals to develop and implement a layered public relations strategy to support company sales, merger and acquisition efforts and government relations initiatives. Elements of the strategy included, but were not limited to industry research, message development, public relations, all press responsibilities (print, radio, television, and online), coordination of press events, media appearances, promotional video production, and utilization of our extensive media network.
We brought Trans Tech national exposure and established the company as the leader in the electric school bus market and a relevant player in the electric vehicle discussion across the globe.
Landed nationwide coverage (online, print, radio, and television) including, but not limited to National Public Radio, Fox News, Wall Street Journal, ABC, NBC, and CBS. Dominated industry publications by securing front page coverage and numerous online and print stories.
