PC Public Affairs was charged with organizing New York’s diverse renewable energy sector to speak with one voice for a public awareness campaign. PC Public Affairs surveyed New York’s renewable energy industry landscape, identified stakeholders, and activated an impassioned network that could speak with one voice on the importance of renewable energy to New York’s energy future. Using skills honed by years of public affairs experience and messages perfected with public relations know-how, PC Public Affairs delivered a series of media hits, columns, op-eds, and letters to the editor authored by energy experts and various stakeholders on the ground. Traditional media was reinforced with a social media and digital campaign, and followed up with one-on-one meetings and community gatherings that brought campaign’s message right to the critical decision makers that had to be reached.
With PC Public Affairs guiding the way, renewable energy businesses in Upstate New York worked together to draw attention to the environmental and economic benefits of their industry and to advance their cause. Their message was heard loud and clear producing measurable and meaningful results.
